After Google announced that Google Plus has over 40 million users, Google stated that they plan to shutdown Google Buzz.
Google's Vice President Bradley Horowitz, one of the Google Plus leaders, said that they plan to shut down Google Buzz "in a few weeks." He also said that the Buzz users will still be able to view the posts created on Buzz in their Google Profile and can still download them using Google Takeout.
Google Buzz was launched in February 2010, and dramatically changed the Google industry.
