Mobile operating systems - What's new?

iOS 5

Well it looks like iOS 5 has just been released to the public and so far it has been getting some great reviews. Apple have spiced up the speed look on the new iOS for Apple iPhones, iPod Touches and iPads; from the new notification layout to the blazing fast new optimizations that they have made.

Android

Android has come a long way since when it was first announced. To be honest, I thought it was a little rushed, but now Google is taking it's time and planning out their steps to try to beat their enemy (Apple). Google has a big advantage in the mobile operating system market because most mobile phones now run on the Android operating system.

Blackberry OS 7 

Blackberry have just released their new OS on their new phones; ranging from the New Blackberry Curve 9360 to their new Blackberry Torch 9860. The most noticeable new feature is that they have changed some icon looks, for example 'Contacts'. They have also optimized their browser so that it is 2x faster than OS 6.
