YouTube is still improving their website, and now they have introduced a new technology for the video sharing site, which is face blurring technology. The new option is available to unloaders in the Video Enhancements menu after uploading your video, and it activates in one click. The technology will then be used o identify faces throughout your video and blur them. It's designed for any sort of sensitive video. Unfortunately, there's no option yet to manually add blurring, but this may come in the future. YouTube believes the new feature "allows people to share personal footage more widely and to speak out when they otherwise may not." They also state that face blurring is just the "first step towards providing visual anonymity" - this means that we may see updates to the technology on the site soon.
