Apple pulls 'Genius' TV ads from YouTube and Apple's official site

Today Apple has removed its 'Genius' TV ads from both its official YouTube page and Apple.com marketing page for the Mac. The ads were first aired during the 2012 London Summer Olympics Opening Ceremonies, hosted by NBC, but were met with mostly poor reviews from fans and consumers alike. Some critics even said that the ads were insulting and condescending to Apple customers, as the ads portray them as being unable to complete simple tasks on their Mac.

Apple has marked its "Genius" ads as "private" on YouTube, preventing the public from viewing them

Even though Apple has removed ads from both its own website and its official YouTube page before, the company still has ads that go back to November 2010 on its YouTube page. We are still unsure if these ads will be deleted but if so, we will let you know the reason.

What did you think about the ads? Comment below and tell us your thoughts!
