Yes you heard it, Borderlands 2 will feature a 58 hour-long campaign, based on a recent play-through with one of the four playable characters available in the game, developer Gearbox Software confirmed.

Gearbox marketing VP Steve Gibson reasoned why the length of Borderlands 2 campaign is 58 hours long. He stated that it is the studio's perception of Borderlands as "a hobby."

"We look at it as a hobby, and that isn't even counting the new Badass Points system and how that'll affect every character you do. We want it to feel like you get more for your money. We're happy for people to pay their money once and feel that they get ongoing value."
A few guide guys just played through the Borderlands 2 campaign and they reported back that it takes 58 hours to play through the campaign. Remember though, that is only with just ONE playable character.

Borderlands 2 will be released September 18th in North America on Xbox 360, PC, and Playstation 3.

Well, it looks like there maybe an Android-based competitor to the iPod touch. Details are still quite thin regarding this new product, but it has a 3.5-inch screen, and, most importantly, runs Android 4.0 complete with access to Google Play.

Just that alone should make this a good competitor against the Samsung Galaxy Player 3.6. We still do not know what hardware it will be using to power Ice Cream Sandwich, but it does come in 8GB, 16GB, and 32GB models. Sony is also claiming 4.5 hours battery life for video and 20 hours for audio. We are still unsure on the price yet, or a release date, but we will let you know when we do.

What the new phone will look like
A new smartphone has been developed by Sony that allows users to open links and applications by just hovering your finger over them instead of touching the phone.

Sony describes this new technology as a floating touch user interface, which is due to go on sale in the second half of 2012.

I'm sure like me and many mobile analysts your wondering if this new technology will be practical or popular.

It works by a users finger will act as a mouse cursor, highlighting a link or application. Once selected, it can be activated it with a single tap.

Although it might reduce the amount of smudges and marks on your screen the new technology might be more trouble than it is worth and by just putting your phone in your pocket leaves you with smudges so will new technology kick off?
