Apple today has released the second beta of iOS 6.1 to developers. The beta has the build number of 10B5105c, versus 10B5095f for the first beta of iOS 6.1.

As with the first beta, Apple mentions a number of changes from iOS 6.0.1, including several related to how developers can integrate Apple's new mapping service in their apps, as well as improvemnent to how boarding passes are handled in Passbook, and a few minor changes to Safari.

Apple also released a beta of the Apple TV software, as well as Xcode 4.6 Developer Preview 2. Registered developers can download the betas via Apple's developer page.

One of the newest features in the new iOS 6 Beta (Beta 4) is 'Wi-Fi Plus Cellular' option. The setting appears to allow apps to fall back on the iPhone's cellular data connection when having difficulties moving data via the Wi-Fi connection, something that can happen with a weak Wi-Fi signal or a temperamental internet connection.

There are also individual On/Off switches to use cellular data for iCloud Documents, iTunes, FaceTime, Passbook Updates and Reading List. It looks like it is a submenu setting for the Wi-FI Plus Cellular control, which allows specific tasks such as downloading music from iTunes or syncing iCloud Documents to require the use of Wi-Fi. The settings could always change to be made more clear or they could be removed entirely. Remember that this is only restricted to 'developers', so anything could happen.

Apple said in a statement to The Verge: "our license to include the YouTube app in iOS has ended, customers can use YouTube in the Safari Browser and Google is working on a new YouTube app to be on the App Store."

A Youtube Spokesperson said "We are working with Apple to ensure we have the best possible YouTube experience for iOS users.

The news comes after Apple announced it was dropping Google Maps from the OS in favour of its own app. It is expected that iOS 6 will make its debut on the highly anticipated iPhone 5 which could launch on 21st September along with an iPad Mini on the 12th of September.

Beginning this Friday everyone is invited to log in and help us put the game and servers through their paces in this three day stress test as we march toward the game's release on May 15. You can begin downloading the Diablo III client right now! 

From Friday, April 20 at 12:01 p.m. PDT (noon), until Monday, April 23 at 10:00 a.m. PDT you'll be able to log in, team up with friends, and play each of the five heroic classes to level 13 as you fight to save the world from the impending demonic invasion."
