Max Payne, a physiologically disturbed NYPD detective who's wife and child were killed in a connection with the Valkyr drugs case. I must admit that there were some aspects of the game that I wasn't jumping up and down with joy, such as the fact that the game is 1.11Gb's big which is 1 16th of the storage space on my phone. Although I didn't ponder on this fact, so I purchased it purely from the fact that original was so good, and it was only £2. After the lengthy download I then came across another issue, but this is only down to the fact that it is an extremely big file for a mobile device. The problem was the length of time that it took to actually load the game, it took around 2 minutes, and that is an extremely long time for modern day games. Another fault, well its more of a niggle, is the position of the controls (it may only be for the iPhone/iPod, because I have not played it on an iPad) they are very close together, and after playing it for a while your thumbs begin to ache slightly.

Although criticisms aside, this game is absolutely fantastic, the graphics are even better than they were on the playstation, the retina display probably helps there. The storyline is better than I remember, and this game really does show what iOS games are capable of. The bullet time is also in the game, and I think that it needed to be, it is one of the defining features of any Max Payne game. I hope that Rockstar now consider making The Fall Of Max Payne (the second one) for iOS and Android, because I believe that it can only get better from here on out, although they have set the bar very high, but Rockstar being Rockstar, they never dissapoint.

Rockstar have been constantly praised on their skills of creating games. Most recently they have released Max Payne 3 on May 18th. I was eagerly anticipating this game, and purchased it on the day of release, and I believe that Rockstar have once again outdone themselves. The graphics are incredible, the multiplayer is so addictive, there are so many different types of customisation for the avatars and also the weapon load outs. Single player wise, this is without a doubt the best game that I have ever played, the level of detail, followed by the way that the story is told is unique, fresh, and just mind boggling.

Anyway, on the subject of the new Grand Theft Auto, it is going to be arguably one of the best games of all time, and I could leave it there, but your here for the details, so I shall provide them to you. If you have been living under a rock for 5 years and haven't seen the trailer then you need to Click here. As you can see from the trailer, although it is not a gameplay trailer, there is a significant improvement on the graphics, and if all of the aspects of the trailer are playable through the game, it will be simply unrivalled. One of the major differences to the game this time around, looks to be the fact that you are able to control aeroplanes, this (in my opinion) was one of the greatest downfalls of GTA IV, the fact that you could only use helicopters, but not aeroplanes. Also in the trailer you see a car in the middle street with it's roof being lowered whilst it is stationary, this is also a new feature (if it will actually be featured in the final game is yet to be confirmed) and the picture of the convertible is below.

I simply cannot wait for this game, it is a must buy for anyone with an Xbox or a Playstation, if Rockstar do as good a job as they normally do with any game that they produce, it will be mind-blowing.
